About This Game

NBA 2K27 is a basketball simulation game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K for Nintendo Switch 2. The game brings together MyCAREER MyTEAM MyNBA and The City with a focus on realistic basketball action and deeper player progression. Players can create their own MyPLAYER and work toward becoming one of the greatest players in NBA history.

The gameplay is powered by ProPLAY which translates real NBA action into lifelike animations. Players can perform improved shooting mechanics quick crossovers and more responsive moves while competing against challenging defenders. A new dynamic Dunk Meter also evaluates defensive pressure throughout the dunk attempt.

MyCAREER gives players a new basketball journey with a story connected to the legendary Rucker Park. Players can develop their MyPLAYER and compete through different environments while building their reputation. The City also returns with Crew activities The REC Park and other basketball experiences.

MyTEAM allows players to collect NBA and WNBA stars and create customized fantasy lineups. Players can build their collection and test their squad through single player and multiplayer experiences. MyNBA also provides franchise management for players who prefer controlling a team and shaping its future.

The City

The City gives players a large basketball focused environment where they can develop their MyPLAYER and compete with other players. Players can form a Crew with friends and take part in activities including The REC and Park.

The City provides a social basketball experience alongside the traditional game modes. The returning centralized layout has been refined based on community feedback while Rucker Park has been recreated as an important location for the new MyCAREER experience.

MyCAREER

MyCAREER lets players create a MyPLAYER and follow a new story focused on building a basketball legacy. Players can improve their abilities compete against legends and work toward becoming one of the greatest players.

Rucker Park plays an important role in this year’s MyCAREER prelude story called Fire & Concrete. The mode combines character progression basketball competition and narrative elements.

MyTEAM

MyTEAM lets players collect their favorite NBA and WNBA stars and create different fantasy lineups. Players can experiment with combinations and build a squad suited to their preferred style.

The mode supports both single player and multiplayer experiences. NBA 2K27 also introduces a unified Auction House across PS5 Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
